Jeff Howes Golf Design have secured planning permission for the proposed extension of Borris GC from a 9 hole parkland course set within the old Borris Desmense to an 18 hole course which will wind its’ way through a beautiful woodland river valley. Unfortunately it was decided not to proceed with the project. Perhaps it was fortunate for the club in the end because it wasn’t long afterwards the global financial crisis hit.
